Information and Pricing

Session fee
What is a session fee?  The session fee covers my time for the session, to pose baby, take the photos, use of my props, facilities etc.  Please note the session fee does not include an products or files.

My Signature Newborn Session lasts for 2-3 hours. Baby is posed both wrapped and naked and with the parents.  If you like my naked newborn photos then this session is ideal for you. Session fee $250

My Short and Sweet Sessions last 1-1.5 hours.  These are aimed at parents with less time available for the session.  It is recommended that both parents attend this session and are included in the photos.  The nappy stays on baby the whole time so there are no naked photos, baby’s nappy will be covered by a wrap. Session fee $150

Viewing session
This happens 1-2 weeks after the session and this is the time you come back to view your photos in a beautiful slide show and select and purchase the images you want printed or as digital files.  I have eftpos and credit card facilities available at the viewing session and lay-by is also an option.  If you are purchasing digital files they will available for you to take home on a beautiful USB that day (if payment is made in full on the day).

Product pricing
Package prices start from $695.
Digital files are included in all my packages and I have some digital file only options as well.

Please feel free to Contact me for a full price list, I am more than happy to email this to you.

Newborns should ideally be photographed under 2 weeks (5-10 days is perfect) while they are still sleepy and curly. It is best to make a booking while you are still pregnant. A rough date will be held for you and confirmed once baby is born, so it is not necessary to know the exact birth date when booking.
I have a beautiful custom designed studio in my home in Manurewa.  The studio is always kept warm so baby will remain sleepy and comfortable. There are couches for you to sit back and relax while I capture those precious newborn moments. Baby will require a lot of feeding during the session to keep him/her sleepy; this is calculated in to the session time (usually 2-3 hours).

The short answer is yes and you can check out my blog post on this subject here.  If you are looking at my website and baby is already over 2 weeks of age please don’t hesitate to contact me. I have had great success getting babies to sleep even up to 3 months of age. I’ve photographed well almost four hundred babies and have only had one or two who have struggled to sleep. So if you want photos please Contact me. I can’t promise you I will have space as I do get a lot of people booking before baby is born, but I can promise you there is a high chance I can get beautiful sleeping photos of your newborn, even over 2 weeks of age. I have written a blog post showing how possible it is to photograph newborns when they are over that age and the many reasons why some babies simply can’t be photographed before this age, check it our here.

I absolutely LOVE photographing newborns. It is such a joy to see a precious newborn. Having had four babies of my own (all in varying degrees of difficulty) I have a few techniques up my sleeve to help settle and calm your little one and my aim is to make you feel as relaxed about the session as possible.
